Oregon here we come!!

Alright, we are packing up the kids and coming to Oregon. We will be there late tomorrow night. We are ready for some good Oregon fun. We want to play with babies (Emma, Betsy, Bella) and grandparents and really fun aunts and uncles. We want to pick blueberries, and go to Otter Park and the fountain, eat good pizza from American dream and enjoy a trip to Mongolian Grill. Chad wants to golf with friends (anybody really!), play tennis and raquetball, frisbee golf, barbeque and hang out with his brothers. We can't wait...now wish us luck on the drive :)

Life is good

Chad and I just got done watching the season finale of Hell's Kitchen (we are a little behind) and both my babies are fast asleep. I snuck in and took pictures. My heart is so overwhelmed with love whenever I look at these sweet faces. I often wondered how I would be able to love another son as much as I love Tyler but it is amazing what your heart is capable of doing! Not a day goes by where I don't thank God for the wonderful blessing of these two precious boys he has given us.

Almost a week!

Tanner joined our family almost a week ago! So far, things are going great. It is awesome to have the help of my mom this week (and now my dad too) but I think (or at least have hope) that things will be fine once they leave too - just maybe not as clean :) Tanner is doing so great and is sleeping fairly decent at night too. I got a 4 hour stretch last night and then a 2 hour stretch so I can't complain too much. Tyler has taken great to "his baby" and is so gentle with him, although it does make him mad I won't just give him Tanner to walk around with. Here are a few pics from this week.

Tanner Bradley

Here is Tanner Bradley born on Saturday, July 12, 2008. He weighed 8 lb. and 11 oz. and was 21 inches long. Kylie did the whole thing naturally and I am so proud of her. She already looks great and is so much healthier than she was last time.
Tanner is doing really well. Eating often and really mellow. Has only fussed when he is hungry and when we change him (he likes being wrapped up). Thank you for all of your prayers, they really worked in helping her get through it unmedicated and of course with having a very healthy baby.

39 week appointment

Not much has changed. About 1 - 2 centimeters dilated, still 80% effaced and baby has dropped slightly. My cervix is really "soft" and my midwife said she expects I will give birth sometime this week. I don't really hold much too that because that is what they told Megan at 38, 39 and 40 weeks until they ended up having to break her water at 41 weeks! Still, glad my body is preparing and getting ready. We are just enjoying our summer together with Tyler and are ready to meet this new little boy when he decides to make his appearance!

Ocean fun

Yesterday we went shopping and bought Tyler a boogie board. He LOVES going to the beach and playing in the ocean and is fascinated by Chad's surfboards so we decided it was time to get him his own "surfboard". He had a great time and even crashed once and thought it was pretty funny. He caught a few good waves and when he got too cold he was very content to play in the sand with daddy.

4th of July

We had a great time yesterday with friends over at our house followed by a walk to the bay to watch the fireworks. My body is feeling all the time on my feet today and still no sign of baby! We made an all-American meal of hotdogs and hamburgers and everyone else brought side dishes that included pasta and potato salad, beans, chips, cherry apple pies and I made some good ol' Jello for the kids. Tyler had a great time with his friends and we spent the day in the driveway along with our new neighbors and their little girl Rossi. Tyler adores her and they have so much fun playing together.

(almost) 38 week appointment

Went in today for my weekly appointment. My blood pressure is great at 117/73. I gained a pound (or two) but I think that is just because my appointment was at 6:00 after I had eaten :) Little to no swelling still (I am still wearing my wedding rings easily, yeah!). The best news is that I am 80 - 90% effaced and 1 centimeter dilated. Now, this doesn't mean much but it makes me excited because I didn't dilate or efface AT ALL with Tyler so this time at least it seems my body is preparing itself. Chad thinks a 4th of July baby would be cool. I say I will take this little boy any time he wants to make his big appearance!

18 days left

Well, 18 days left until my due date. I have been feeling great, minus a little bit of abdominal cramping. Nothing that tells me labor is imminent but also more than I had with Tyler so maybe this baby will cooperate :) We haven't decided on a name yet and our list keeps changing. I am going to have to decide soon because, well, Jenna told me I have to! Here are pics of the belly and one of Tyler cause he is just too darn cute.
