Tyler got a hair cut

We finally decided it was time for another haircut. We were loving his blond curls so we had let his hair grow but the back was becoming a matted mess and he hated us combing it so it was time. It took me a bit to get used to it but it looks great. His hair definately is darker now. And an added picture of Tanner too because he is too darn cute.

5 hours left

Five hours left until I hit up the stores. Tanner and I are ready. Did you know lots of stores are opening at midnight?!? Did you also know I will be out there with all the rest of the crazy people getting some good deals? So excited. Also, pretty tired already thinking about the lack of sleep (or no sleep) I am going to get tonight. Tanner is sleeping now. Gearing up for some fun. I am now off to make a list of where I want to go and what I want to buy!

Some Christmas Card photos

We had a wonderful weekend minus the fact that I all day Saturday I felt just not good. BUT, we did get to go up to Point Loma's homecoming. It was Chad's 10 year college reunion and he saw some people that he hadn't seen in awhile and had a great time visiting. And better then that is the fact I got to see one of my bestest friends in the world, Ashley. And of course she is super cute and pregnant and I forgot my camera. Nice. After church Sunday we ran a couple of errands and then after nap we took some photos of the boys for our Christmas cards. I think they turned out pretty good. Here are some of my favorites.

Four Months Already

I can't believe four months have already passed. Tanner was four months old last week (didn't post...was too busy with my sister!). His four month appointment went great. He was 14 pounds 5 ounces and almost 26 inches long. He was 50th percentile for weight, 78th for height and over the 95th for head size. Poor baby will be a late bloomer sitting up if he has to hold that noggin up. The doctor was impressed with his ability to grasp objects and roll both directions. I can't put him down anymore and expect him to be in that same spot for long. He rolls and scootches everywhere. He is such a fun, happy baby. My only complaint is that he really just doesn't like to sleep. He naps for 20 minutes here and there and is up a few times a night. Oh well, he is just little. It is what it is (haha, that is for Pastor John if he reads this). We got the go ahead to give rice cereal. We have tried it twice and it didn't go over too well. I think we will wait another few weeks and try again. No hurry. He are some pics of the little cutie.

Sister fun

Jenn and Emma came and spent last week with us. Emma greeted us but promptly exploding out of her diaper into our carseat. Lovely poop everywhere. On the way home from the airport Chad said it smelled like poop. He was right. I picked Emma up out of the carseat and got my hand covered in it. It was actually quite hilarious. Jenn stripped her down and rinsed her off with the hose. She then proceeded to have quite a bit of fun running naked up and down our driveway.
We did lots of fun things together. We went to the park, got the kids pictures taken, went shopping, went to the zoo, out for a yummy dinner to Barona, and just lots and lots of playing. Tyler and Emma had a blast together and Tyler was slowly learning to share all his toys :). Emma didn't seem to care a whole lot about Tanner, was more into her older cousin. After the kids went to bed Jenn, Chad and I enjoyed TV and the ocassional ice cream. We had a great time and can't wait for the next month to pass so we can see them again!

Legoland

My mother-in-law won four tickets to Legoland. On Monday Chad and Robin both took the day off of work and we all went. Kate and Nolan also got to come as we had an extra ticket. We had so much fun! The rides were awesome. Tyler loved the airplanes, boats, trains but his favorite was the real roller coaster as long as we "held him". It went pretty fast, I was impressed that he loved it. We went three times in a row. There were also different parks throughout with big slides, tunnels, etc. The park wasn't busy so that was great. I can't believe some of the things they made out of legos. I would definately go back but I think we will wait for a few more years as once the kids him 42 inches and 4 years old there is a bunch more they can do. It was so fun seeing Tyler and Nolan have such a great time and enjoy themselves so much. They didn't stay awake long once being loaded back in the car at the end of the day!

Halloween Day

I still have to get some pics of both my lions but here are some pictures of Halloween Day. This year was so fun. Tyler enjoyed it so much and that is great to watch. We spent the evening with Dave, Shannon and Rossi and Rossi and Tyler had a blast trick or treating and going to the carnival.

Halloween Fun

*side note - now that I have a scanner I see how much fun posting old photos can be. I think that might happen more often cause I seem to have a lot of some of you :)*

We had such a wonderful Halloween week. On Wednesday Kate and I took the boys to a costume parade at the library. They gave them little treats, read stories and sang songs. We paraded through the library to end it all. Good times. Tyler was a little lion and I had a dog costume and a lion costume for Tanner. He wore the dog to the library but I think the lion costume was cuter on him! We then spent Wednesday evening carving pumpkins with Dave, Shannon and Rossi and then ended the night with a barbeque dinner. We love our neighbors! I think we ate dinner with them 3 times this week. Fun! Friday Shannon and I took the kids to the fall carnival at the school which was busy but fun. Then we came home, picked up the Dave and Chad and went trick or treating and to the little fall carnival at Camp Surf. The kids had a blast although they did try and walk in people's houses so we had to let them know they just had to stay at the door. Then we came home, gave out candy and made the traditional spaghetti dinner. Tyler and Rossi were soooo tired by the end of the night so it was spaghetti and bed (although it was around 9!). Here are a few pics (more of Halloween day are coming). And PS - November 2nd and in the 70's. Gotta love SD!
